MGMT. helped develop a new temporary gallery space for the AIGA/NY. We also helped curate and design the first exhibition, Looking, Thinking, Making in the City, an exhibition showcasing the process of design and making in the city. AIGA/NY invited five New York City-based design studios to participate. Each studio produced a 40 foot strip of paper that was printed on a plotter in the gallery. The strips showcased one project, from sketches to completion. Each participant was given two gallery walls for display and MTV kicked off the show with multiple selfie sticks and a process-driven DJ set.
