Center for Urban Industry

Identity design and website for the Center for Urban Industry (CUI), a partnership of Kean University, their School for Public Architecture (SPA), and Vertical Urban Factory. Their mission is to support New Jersey communities seeking to re-develop their industrial infrastructure to raise a community’s economic, social, and environmental standards. In keeping with the industrial theme, the logo was inspired by the geometric forms of machine and die cutting tools. The website was designed to highlight the center’s research and events. To help create a consistent and simple public presence, we set up templates for social media and publications.
